The Premier Physical Therapy Team
Chris Robinson, PT
Chris grew up in Roane County and graduated from Roane County High School in 1990. He completed pre-requisites at East Tennessee State University and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He graduated from the Physical Therapy program at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1996 and his career has focused on treating clients with a wide variety of diagnoses with emphasis on orthopedics and sports medicine. He has extensive training in the McKenzie Method of Spine Care, Dry Needling, Soft Tissue Mobilization, Kinesiotaping, and shoulder, knee, and foot and ankle rehabilitation. Chris is a Level 1 Certified medical TPI provider as certified by the Titleist Performance Institute addressing common golf injuries. Chris has provided on field injury assessments at Rockwood High School football games for the past fourteen years. Chris and his wife Ashley, also a Physical Therapist, live in Knoxville with their children Emery Ann, Gracie, Brandt, and Henley.
Jason Eble, PT, DPT
Jason grew up in Harriman and graduated from Harriman High School in 2005. After attending Roane State and playing baseball for the Raiders, Jason transferred to East Tennessee State University and graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree in 2012. Since graduation, Jason has practiced physical therapy in Roane County and he is very excited to be operating his own practice in his home town as his father, Dr. Jay Eble once did in his dental practice. Jason has extensive training in Dry Needling, Soft Tissue Mobilization, Kinesiotaping, and shoulder, knee, and foot and ankle rehabilitation. Jason is proud to cheer on the Harriman Blue Devils from the sidelines and assists many athletes with their medical needs. Jason and his wife Jazz live in Harriman with their daughter Mila.
Brandon Griffis, PT, DPT
Brandon grew up in Kingston and attended Roane County High School where he graduated in 2013. He then went on to Tennessee Tech and received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2017. He then started the DPT program at South College and graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. Brandon enjoys playing tennis and working out in his spare time. He has training in post operative care, sport-specific training, and extensive manual techniques. Having an athletic background in basketball and tennis, Brandon brings those skills into his specialized rehabilitation processes with athletes. He is excited to be working near his hometown community and building relationships with his patients.
Derek Harlan, PTA
Derek grew up in Wartburg and graduated from Wartburg High School in 2012. He then attended Roane State Community College and graduated with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2016. He also married his wife Victoria in October that same year. They live in Wartburg with their daughter Everly. They're active members at Oak Grove Church in Lancing where Derek is a youth leader. He is very excited to be back in his hometown where his parents Randy and Angie Harlan, both work.
Kayla Plemons, PTA
Kayla grew up in Kingston, TN and graduated from Roane County High School in 2010. She graduated from Roane State in 2015 with her PTA degree. She began working in the school system as a therapist’s assistant and also has worked with pediatrics, acute care therapy, rehab care, and now outpatient therapy. She is excited to use everything she has learned from previous experiences to provide excellent care to all of her patients and to work in her community.
Tyler Scalf
Tyler is a southern California native and has lived around the Knoxville area for most of his life. He is a 2011 graduate from Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville where he played basketball and tennis for four years. Tyler received his Associate of Science from Roane State Community College in 2016 and his Bachelor of Education in Kinesiology from the University of Tennessee in 2018. During his undergraduate studies at Tennessee, Tyler worked indirectly with multiple sport teams in the sport science labs evaluating their performances. Tyler has been working in clinical settings for 6 years and assists with sport coverage for Harriman High School and Wartburg Central High School.
Brie Vineyard
Brie is a Loudon native, graduating from Loudon High School in 1998. She has worked in the medical field for many years, 13 being in primary care. Her husband, Travis, owns Vineyard Lawn in Lenoir City. They have a blended family with four children – Braeden, Hayden, Brycen and Ella. Brie enjoys spending time with family and friends, always hosting dinners and cookouts at the family home or while vacationing. She is very excited to be working in Loudon County and giving back to her home community.
Tara Gadd
Tara is a Coalfield native and 2003 graduate from Coalfield High School. She has worked in the medical field for many years and has lots of experience in administrative and patient services. Tara and her boyfriend Tyler have a blended family with three children — Madison, Grayson, and Laklee. She enjoys being on the lake and spending time with her family. She is very excited to be working in Morgan County and getting to serve the community she grew up in.
